Expert 1499 brings over thirty years of hands on experience as an engineering management consultant, specializing in electric utility practices and transportation infrastructure, related to Engineering/Construction projects. He works closely with attorneys to prepare construction delay claims, and litigation cases involving personal injury arising from utility/transportation operations.
During his career, Expert 1499 gained work experience with large engineering/construction projects related to the utility industry. In the past, he was an employee of Consolidated Edison Co. of New York for more than ten years, New York Power Authority for six years and Washington Public Power Supply System for three years. Projects involved design/construction of nuclear/fossil power plants, high voltage transmission lines and the installation of computer facilities. In addition, he had Project Management responsibilities for the complete renovation of large scale multiple dwelling projects, schools, large infrastructure projects at NYC Bridges/Tunnels, the JFK Airport and commuter rail sector of Metropolitan New York.
Expert 1499 rendered expert opinion on project delay claims and litigation cases involving personal injury caused by utility practices and/or manufacturers of electrical apparatus. He testified in New York State Supreme Court, Southern District Court in New York and the American Arbitration Association.
Expert 1499 was appointed to the Commercial/Construction panel of Arbitrators at the American Arbitration Association in 1986. In this capacity he served as a member of three panelists, and as a sole arbitrator on numerous cases involving construction disputes.
